Maxwell Konadu agrees to take over as Legon Cities FC head at the end of the season

Former Black Stars assistant coach, Maxwell Konadu has agreed to a deal with officials of Legon Cities FC and will become the new head coach for the side at the end of the season, information reaching Modernghana Sports has revealed.

The top tactician has been out of job since December 2020 when he was sacked by the management of Asante Kotoko.

After close to six months, Coach Maxwell Konadu has reportedly landed a new job after a fruitful meeting on Wednesday in the capital.

Although he does not immediately return to the touchline, sources have indicated that he has agreed to join Legon Cities FC and will be the team’s new head coach at the end of the 2020/2021 football season.

The gaffer is set to replace veteran Ghanaian tactician Bashir Hayford who is currently handling the Royals.

Although it is believed that the management of Legon Cities is impressed with the work of coach Bashir Hayford, they want him to take charge of their youth team and groom young players with his expertise.
